8/12_GBR, MPET, CYCC, EBIO
It seems today's market has gone back to the one in July. Difficult for me to trade but this is what it is. Had opportunity to cover for profit but didn't and turned winner into loser. I Even shorted into weakness and it followed by immediate spike but the greatest thing I did today was putting $5.22 order to cover which turned out to be the best cover.
Then the scenario gets difficult. It seems stuffing at HOD but at the same time bids absorbing at the base. I took long position but as soon as I saw HOD stuffing and rejection I immediately sold that was good job. Then I took short position and turned loser into winner. Ended up breakeven at the end. which is the best case scenario because this is the chart I used to get smoked.
Very illiquid and doesn't look like about to pull so I covered.
Premarket runner and it fell off the cliff right after Adam twitted. I tried to buy morning washout b/c it is friday, it's low float and its got SSR on so I took chance but didn't workout
Thought it would do what GBR did and support got tested, retested so I took short anticipating EOD washout. Didn't happen so I covered, small loss.
Finally this is the end of the week and overall I feel myself trading better past two weeks. Yes I still made mistakes but I kept loser under control. Market is showing you different face each day, today GBR certainly ran more than everyone ever imagined. I don't think it was shorts covering b/c it's HTB stock. I think it was due to retail traders and a few big players supporting it. Like Nate said, once the supporter gone, it collapsed. Eventually shorts won the race today but its action was very odd. This is what trading is. Stocks came back to reality in different ways. Some are smooth, some are choppy, some exhausted shorts before did so, therefore it's important to pay attention to the chart and adapt!!!!! I still remember on the back of my mind that I failed to take off KOOL after pulled and took massive loss. I don't wanna it ever happen to me again.
