11/5_EYEG, GENE

-Many many many mistakes and lessons today!!!! subject to FOMO effect
-my plan was $5 para so I started in 1/3 of size in $4.62, feared of missing out, then reshorted at $4.79 then finally caught the top in the high $4.90's. Was holding 3000 shares at $4.77 avg. Not ideal but tolerable. again!! too early and too big!!!! missed lots of plays yesterday so today got too emotional
-didn't regret of the first cover and actually the reshort at $4.72 was phenominal!!
-so first mistake was starting too early, here comes my second mistake: took 2nd cover too early!! when the stock confirmed lower high and made new low, just sit on your hands and wait!! let it play out!!!! strangly i am not who I used to be, I sued to let it run run run without covering a single share!
-totally unexpected, 90% of people thought GENE may easily gap down due to weakness and made new low nearly the market close yesterday
-plan: it downtrended premarket, so plan A: shorted into para risking premarket high, didn't get that at the first place, instead it panicking from the get go, I would definitely not interested in short into weakness b/c it could draw in shorts chasing down and ramp back up
-during panicking mode, now, what do I do? do I aim for ORB???? I was thinking about that BUT i took step back and looked at the chart thinking, VWAP could be resistance lvl 1, HOD could be resistance lvl 2, premarket high could be resistance lvl 3. What is the point of buying into anticipation that it will break through all these resistances?????? I don't trade on anticipation!
-on the other side, let's say if these resistances are valid, do I short it???? on hindsight YES but at that moment, I was afraid of doing so, AQXP was still on the back of my mind plus all those crazy biotechs, even though there were resistances on top of it, but it could still breakthrough them!
-so the BEST APPROACH would be still taking the short, but keep position size small risking PREMARKET HIGH over/under! if it peaked out, great, if based on it, covered!!! run don't walk!
-this is what happened later the day...
-tons of lessons and takeaways, #LEARN, #STUDY!
