this may be the last blog in August. Gonna spend more time with Estelle starting tomorrow till the fall semester starts. followed my plan today. only loser is FAZE long. overall breakeven day.

After wired out and started using relatively smaller size i don't know if I would feel better or worse. today $40k profit make me really thought about the size and this journey once again. I could have used 10x size but I felt the right thing to do is using small size so that less stress and better well being. so the answer is idk. but let me stay this way till the end of this year and re-adjust the size next year and see. 

8/22_GCT, APE

 

GCT killed me on Friday and today I got my revenge. didn't recoup all the loss but decent amount

APE-para on AMC catalyst why not take a chance for pullback?!

8/19_GCT

CHOPPY action and didn't trade well. could have downsized or even cut but kept thinking 3pm+ flush. could have cut wayyyyy long time ago in the 35s in the morning but didn't. then afternoon could have cut/downsize at low 40s but didn't. lots of opportunities to cut but didn't sighing....ended cut cut all at 51-54. disappointed in myself.

SAVA-choppy so fuck  it im done. rather miss it

8/17_BBBY_biggest day in my trading career

 

when opportunity meets preparation. the only tricky thing is no one knows they pulled the rug 20min before the market closes. up n down up and down but got conviction and refused to get shaken out. frustration gets paid off in the end. 

8/16_BBBY_worst day by far -2m

 

The craziest pnl swing in my trading career. glad it worked out at the end but disappointed in myself. still decent loss but much better compared to 2m at the peak. 

Broke all rules in my book, got stubborn, emotional, oversized, and fight mentality. totally avoidable!

8/15_EPOW, COIN, QQQ, BBBY, LTRPB, MEGL

 

EPOW saved my day. 

QQQ-thought $330 is the top. nope. I cut the partial position and let tiny run and it ripped me off before coming down and gave me the chance to bail out. 

COIN- tough one as well. 50/50 and depends on the market index

was tilted a little bit but I managed to crawl out of hole. went from -40k to +6k I think i should be thankful. 

QQQ-unneccessary losses. should have cut earlier

put myself in the bad situation again and ended up digging myself out of the hole all day. minimized the damage 

breakout liquidity ss setup. worked out nicely except the liquidity is quite low. 

glad I nail n bail on MEGL. this one would ruin my day badly. 

8/11_COIN, DRCT, QQQ, VERU

 

VERU-tough one. both long and shorts are difficult. no thanks. rather miss it

QQQ-got a feeling $330 is the top so I digged into it. will set a stop and leave. watch for 230pm+

COIN-turns out today is the day but i only caught small meat. 

QQQ -patience paid off!!!

8/10_COIN, QQQ, AERC

 

QQQ-good trades overall. not confident that they would use CPI to sell off. hey it's up 2% after the data was released this morning. so hit n run

COIN-straight up and thinking some profit taking. worked out. another hit n run trades. 

AERC-golden opportunity it spiked past yesterday's HOD and I used $8 as a guide to ss. worked out too

8/9_VRNA

 

went to massage yesterday and took care some business and missed the day so today I was hungry for the $ at get go doesn't mean i would be reckless. I saw VRNA near premarket high and digged a lil bit further into old press release and saw its CEO sold 10m shares at $1 and immediately I became short biased and determined to ss at least 50k shares or maybe up to 100k shares. worked out nicely. 

8/5_COIN, SIGA, BBAI, CPS, PEGY, NNIV

 

COIN-my biggest loss of the day. used size and got ripped. glad I cut or it would be nasty. 

SIGA-used small size so really didn't pay much attention and before I realized it was already $2 higher than my entry price. cut all into the pullback. did the right thing. 

8/4_CGTX, COIN, FRGE, GRNA, NERV, NVIV, APDN, QNRX

 HOLY SHIT...entire small cap biotech sector is ON FIRE!!!!!

the only mistake i made today was FOMOed NVIV due to artificial bids pop action by mms. rest are good. I managed most the best I could. Patience worked out today!

8/3_AMTD, HSDT, KSPN, PSTX, QNRX, APDN, HKD

 SICK SICK DAY today.. and I traded very very well. 

QNRX-best trade of the day. cut everything at 13ish. then reshorted at 15 thinking fast rejection but didn't and took the offer immediately!!!! 

AMTD had size on and worked out beautifully.

APDN-a lil choppy but weakness through out the whole time so exercised patience and worked out !

HKD- amazing!!!! $18/share locate fee isn't bad at all. I have a thesis if it stays alive monday then likely Tuesday is the day. but $50/share locate fee shy me away and it did parabolic on Tuesday from 1k-ish to 2kish so any short seller made it out alive on tuesday should short all their mothers the next day(Wednesday). the only thing is liquidity. can't do size. but even with 100 shares the profit is decent!

HKD-$50 to $2500 can you believe it?!

AMTD-made good money on it but under-performed!!! miss the big late day fade
